Does Any Sane Person Really Believe That Landry and Cassidy Are At Odds Concerning COVID?

In an article published in the New Orleans Times Picayune/New Orleans Advocate dated 9/11 titled, "Landry scolds Cassidy on COVID vaccine, the article projects that the Governor and U.S. Senator are at odds.  Everyone knows that the GOP are playing political games with the COVID vaccine and how it played a role in ending the pandemic and helped put America back to work.

The bottom line to the subject is that President Trump appointed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Secretary of Health and Human Services knowing he had no experience for the job and was unfit to serve.  It did not matter because Trump wanted to break up the agency like other agencies and was negative on the benefit of COVID just like Kennedy.  Governor Landry and Senator Cassidy are both Trump ditto heads, with few exceptions.  They both not only supported Kennedy but Cassidy voted in committee to approve his appointment.  And of course, chaos has taken over and the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing so the Agency has no real policy on COVID.  That would not have been the case if Trump did not appointed Kennedy or if Cassidy and his committee had rejected Kennedy.

Neither Landry or Cassidy are in a position to scold each other because they were aware of Kennedy's unfitness to run the Agency and could see the Chaos that has been taken place.  Kennedy just represented another appointed by Trump to take up time and space and of course his party followed by the good ditto heads they are for Trump.  There is no such thing as governing in the Trump administration.

So, Who Is This President Who wants To See Prayers In Public Schools?

Everyone knows his name, but the news media will never define who he is.  They enable him, publish and report his lies, misinformation and his unsupported personal attacks on others and give him all the media time he wants because of his ego.  The media actually have the facts on how to define him but refuse to do so.  PolitiDose commentary will.

President Trump is a convicted criminal, found guilty on 34 felony counts by a jury of his peers.  He is a sexual abuser and found so by a federal court jury who found he sexually abused E. Jean Carroll and was fined $5 million for defamation.  A second jury on a second defamation claim by the same person found he defamed her once again and awarded her $83 million.  That award was confirmed by a federal appeals court just recently.  He is a fraudster, and has settled more than one fraud suit for millions of dollars.  He also betrayed his country, the people, the constitution and his oath of office when he sent a rioting mob to the nation's capital on Jan. 6, 2021 to try and over turn the Presidential election that he lost.  And after being elected to a second term pardoned many of those rioters who were found guilty in a court of law and sentenced. That was a lawless act that turned his back on law and order and due punishment.

That is the President who wants to use schools and prayers for political purposes to sidestep America's separation of church and state that has served the country well and helped make America the great country it is.  Trump has proved by his actions he represents division, lacks morals both in his actions and his rhetoric.  It is also past time for the media to turn the page on Trump and tell the real story of his unfitness to serve in the White House.  They should also ask themselves, how they could have allowed such negative comments by Trump flood the news cycle to the tune that everything in America is negative.  That is not America, but unfortunately everything coming out of Trump and the media is negative.

The Terrible Job Creation Record of President Donald Trump and PAST GOP Aministrations.

President Trump in his first term in office and so far in his ninth month of his second term continue the terrible job creation record of past GOP administrations for the past 96 years.  The record goes back to GOP President Herbert Hoover who was elected in 1929.  So, there is precedent and a historical record of job creation during that period of both Democratic and Republican administrations that allow one to project what job creation will look like during future administrations.  That is the criteria PolitiDose commentary has used to correctly predict what job creation would take place on Bush 43 watch, Obama's watch, Trump's watch and Biden's watch.  And also, what is taking place in Trump's second term so far this year.

During that 96 year period from the Hoover administration to the Biden administration, only two administrations lost jobs and both were Republicans Hoover who lost 6.4 million jobs and Trump who lost 2.7 million jobs during his first term in office.  The job creation record of those Presidents are as follows:   Hoover lost 6.4 million jobs;  Roosevelt created 16.2 million jobs;  Roosevelt/Truman created 8.2 million jobs;  Eisenhower created 3.5 million jobs;  Kennedy/Johnson created 16,4 million jobs;  Nixon/Ford created 11.2 million jobs;  Carter created 10.3 million jobs;  Reagan created 16.1 million jobs;  Bush 41 created 2.5 million jobs;  Clinton created 22.7 million jobs;  Bush 43 created 1.3 million jobs;  Obama created 11.3 million jobs;  Trump lost 2.7 million jobs and Biden created 15 million jobs.

Those GOP Presidents served 44 years and created a net 25.5 million jobs after subtracting their lost jobs.  Those Democratic Presidents served 52 years and created a net 100.1 million jobs without any lost jobs.  Those GOP Presidents created a yearly total of 579,545 jobs a year.  Those Democratic Presidents created a yearly total of 1,925,000 jobs per year.  Reagan was the best GOP job creator and created more than half of all GOP jobs.  Clinton was the best Democratic job creator and think of this.  Clinton created more jobs in just EIGHT YEARS than Reagan, Bush 41, Bush 43 and Trump created in the TWENTY FOUR years they served.  And Reagan, Bush 43 and Trump cut taxes for you know who that was supposed to create so many additional jobs.  Clinton raised taxes on those same folks and the GOP said it would kill jobs, yeah, right.  Reagan was the only GOP President during those years that left office with a lower unemployment rate than when he took office.  Another indication how terrible the GOP are at creating jobs.  Every Democratic President with the exception of Carter left office with a lower unemployment rate than when they took office.  The unemployment rate stayed the same on Carter's watch.  Every GOP administration in the last 100 years has given the country an economic recession. Trump said he would create 25 million jobs in his first term and never came close, not even before the recession and the COVID pandemic hit.  Last week the Labor Department announced that so far this year Trump's job creation has average less than 70,000 per month.  Trump has now been President for 56 months and job creation is still in minus territory to the tune of almost 2 million lost jobs.

One of the sad outcomes of those 96 years of precedent and historical facts is the media's enabling the GOP talking points of Democratic administrations being job killers.  They just went with the flow of GOP lies and misinformation without reporting the actual facts on job creation.  And one of the worst is the New Orleans Times Picayune/New Orleans Advocate.  Louisiana's little child representative in congress Steve Scalise has over and over again accused Democrats of being the party of job killers and of course the newspaper always runs with the story and never points out the true facts and just lets the lie continue.  It's like they are not aware of the factual numbers which are published by the U.S. Department of Labor.  And to think it is the media who tells us they have the duty to inform the American people.

The 96 year record of precedent and historical facts tells the story of a Republican Party who are terrible at creating jobs and keeping unemployment low and keeping people working.  Their lies and misinformation may be believed by many but it does not change the facts or put America to work or change the well being of people.  PolitiDose commentary will continue to predict the future based on precedent and historical truths.  It is really nothing new as the world's very first civilization, that of the Sumerians said 6,000 years ago,  "The key to a better future is to understand the mistakes of the past.  Otherwise, the future will look like the failed past."

And as of this writing, the GOP's future looks like the failed past of the last 96 years.

The U.S. Economy, Job Creation and the Unemployment Rate for August 2025.

The U.S. Labor Department announced that the economy created a weak 22,000 jobs in August and that the unemployment rate came in at 4.3%, it was 4.2% in July and 4% when Biden left office so unemployment is up 0.3% on Trump's watch so far this year.  The Department also announced that June's job numbers were reduced down to a negative 13,000 jobs.  It was the first monthly job loss since November 2020 during Trump's first term in office.

In August of 2021, the first year of Biden's term in office the economy created 235,000 jobs and the unemployment rate came in at 5.2%, down from the 6.3% when Trump left office.  With all the revisions the Labor Department has mad for Trump's first 8 months in office. approximately 600,000 jobs have been created.  During the same period of time during Biden's term in office over 3 million jobs were created.  The tremendous difference is no surprise to those who are familiar with the facts over the past 96 years.

For Trump, the GOP, the negative voices of doom and gloom during the Biden years and the media who reported the negative voices on the Biden economy was nothing but their BS.  But PolitiDose commentary in December 2024 and January 2025 predicted what would take place in Trump administration #2 because of precedent and the past history of GOP administrations over the last 96 years.

And as it has turned out the past 8 months, the future of Trump and the GOP is like their failed past.
