We Can Now Compare Trump's First Year in Office Economy for The Year 2025 to President Biden's First Year in Office in 2021.

The final numbers are now in on Trump's first year in office for 2025 and as predicted by previous PolitiDose commentary, would not be as good as President Biden's numbers for his first year in office in 2021.  Keep in mind that Biden had to deal with COVID in 2021 while Trump did not in 2025.  Biden also had to cope with Trump's last fiscal year deficit of $2.7 trillion in Trump's first term in office.  That exceeded Trump's record of $3.1 trillion federal budget deficit in his third fiscal year.  The numbers are as follows.

                                                              Job Creation

Trump      181,000 jobs created                                             Biden     Over 4 million jobs created

                                                             Unemployment Rate

Trump    Up 0.4%  (4.4% from 4%)                                       Biden     Down   2.4%   (6.9%  to 3.9%)

                                                                      GDP

Trump    2.2%                                                                          Biden   5.9%

                                                              Inflation

Trump 3%                                                                                 Biden       7%

                                                              Manufacturing Jobs

Trump    Loss of 100,000 jobs                                                   Biden     Gain of 375,000 jobs

Real Average Hourly Increase After Inflation

Trump     Up 1.2%                                                                      Biden up 1.4%

                                                               Dow Jones Industrial Average

Trump    Up  10%                                                                        Biden   Up  14%

The numbers and the facts tell the real story and when one adds the fact that Biden inherited a broken economy with record spending and debt plus COVID, the numbers are even stronger.  At the same time Trump inherited a good working economy putting America at work, lower deficits and a record string of unemployment being the lowest since the 1960's.  As PolitiDose past commentary stated, the future under the Trump administration and the GOP, the year 2025 and the future looks like the failed past of previous GOP administrations.  And it was all preordained in precedent of the past 60 years of GOP governance.
