Another BIG FIRST For Politidose

President Obama must have read two of the many commentaries I have written concerning the economic mess the republican administration of George W. Bush left the country in with the failed policy of trickle down economics and tax breaks for Corporate America and the wealthy. See Notes 1 and 2 below.

In a speech in Kansas Tuesday 12/6 the President finally noted how Bush's policies did not work or prevent the great economic collapse and record job losses we are still dealing with today. He also pointed out how the present republican Presidential candidates would continue those same failed policies if elected. He also noted that republicans in congress are also pushing those same failed policies.

Politidose has been in front in reporting the failure of the republican party and their lies. Their lack of having any record of balancing the federal budget in over 50 years, their lack luster record on job creation, their record of more than doubling the national debt has been well documented in politidose. The sad part of all is the failure of news journalists at the major networks, including cable TV have given the republicans a free ride and actually join in the republicans talking points.

Some of those journalists have moderated in the recent republican Presidential debates circus and have turned out to be a big clown just like the candidates with their silly questions. And now the biggest clown of all, Donald Trump will moderate the next republican circus.

What really is a blow to our political system and the republican party is the right wing conservatives have taken over the party. There are no moderate republicans who are willing to stand up and say enough is enough and this circus must stop for the sake of the nation and its people. Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich who are leading the field according to most polls have refused to stand up and be an American first. Instead, a conservative ideology comes first along with personal attacks on Obama because they can not articulate or debate the real issues.

President Obama and the democratic party have their faults, but America and their people will continue to do better on a democratic watch.
